The Amazing Mat is designed for indoor use or for covered areas. If it is placed outside, it may be exposed to extensive sunlight and rain, which may damage the mat.
Will the Mat get damaged from sunlight?
Yes, if the mat is exposed to direct sunlight for an extended period of time, the base may become brittle and possibly crack.
Why is the Amazing Mat not sticky?
There is a very thin clear plastic cover on the top of every Amazing Mat. Once you peel this cover off, you will be able to keep dirt at the door.
How long does each sheet last?
The typical life span of each sheet is 3 – 7 days, depending on the traffic and type of dirt coming through your door.
What direction should the mat be placed?
There is no correct direction the mat needs to face; as long as the mat is fully attached to the frame, you may face it in any direction.
Why are the tabs numbered backwards?
The tabs are numbered backward to inform you how many adhesive sheets are remaining on the Amazing Mat. This also allows you to know when you will need to refill the mat.
Can it be use when it is raining or snowing?
It can be used while it's raining or snowing but please keep in mind that the Mat is slippery when wet, so please use caution.
Will my shoes get stuck to the adhesive?
The adhesive used to capture dirt has been developed to work with most footwear. In some cases shoes with flat rubber soles (i.e. flip flops) may stick to the mat causing it to shift. Care should be taken to tread carefully.
Where do you recommend placing the mat?
We recommend placing the Amazing Mat inside the entry of any high-traffic location. This includes the front door, back door, patio, and garage. For best results, store The Amazing Mat flat and place it in an indoor location where temperatures range between 35 and 100 degrees F.
How thick is the mat and will it fit under my door?
The mat is about ¼" thick and will fit under most doors without issue.
What are the mats made of?
The Amazing Mat is made of many layers of super thin Polyethylene. It is non toxic and kid-friendly.
Is the Amazing Mat safe for my pets to walk on?

- The Amazing Mat is designed to fit a wide variety of potential use sights. For best results, place The Amazing Mat in an indoor location on a hard, solid surface. These include tile, concrete, hardwood, carpet or vinyl floors. The Amazing Mat should not be placed on dirt, in direct sunlight or where it will be exposed to rain or moisture.
- If The Amazing Mat is exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods the sheets may wrinkle, but they remain as effective in catching dirt as before.
